QA Manual Tester – Remote (5‑8 yrs Experience)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented QA Manual Tester with 5–8 years of hands‑on experience to ensure the quality and reliability of web and enterprise applications. The role is fully remote and involves close collaboration with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business and functional requirements to create comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
• Design, execute, and maintain manual test cases covering functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, sanity, exploratory, and user‑acceptance testing.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using Jira.
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and verify bug fixes.
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback to improve testability.
• Validate UI/UX, business workflows, basic API responses, and database outputs.
• Execute end‑to‑end testing across multiple environments and support production validation.
• Prepare test execution reports, defect metrics, and quality status updates.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of experience in manual software testing.
• Strong understanding of STLC and SDLC.
• Ability to translate business requirements into effective test cases, including negative scenarios.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field; ISTQB certification is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work independently.
