Programme Manager – Humanitarian Operations

About the role

The Programme Manager will coordinate and manage IFRC‑supported programmes in Yemen, working closely with the Yemeni Red Crescent Society (YRCS) and the DRC Country Manager to ensure effective humanitarian service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead participatory planning, assessment, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of programmes at national and branch levels.
• Provide technical support to YRCS for budgeting, work‑plan development and procurement planning.
• Coordinate with finance and HR to align activity planning, budgeting and financial reporting.
• Support YRCS in implementing, monitoring and scaling up community‑driven interventions.
• Oversee reporting, proposal development and representation of DRC in partner meetings.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in public health, social science, development studies or related field.
• 5–6 years experience in strategic programme coordination and management in humanitarian contexts.
• Experience designing and managing health, disaster risk reduction, anticipatory action and emergency preparedness interventions.
• Proven success in assessments, programme planning, monitoring, evaluation and reporting.
