Program Manager – Health & Nutrition (Yemen)

About the role

Relief International is seeking a Program Manager to lead its integrated health and nutrition portfolio in Yemen. Based in Aden, you will ensure high‑quality, evidence‑based programming that meets humanitarian needs and creates lasting impact.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the health and nutrition programme portfolio, ensuring quality implementation and target achievement.
• Provide technical leadership across interventions, strengthening service quality, capacity development, monitoring systems and adherence to international standards.
• Oversee programme monitoring, learning and reporting to support evidence‑based decision making.
• Support programme growth through assessments, proposal development, donor engagement and fundraising initiatives.
• Build and maintain relationships with government counterparts, donors, clusters, UN agencies and other stakeholders.
• Travel regularly to programme locations within Yemen.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in a health or nutrition‑related field (e.g., Public Health, Medicine, Nursing).
• Substantial experience in public health and health programming in humanitarian or development settings.
• Technical expertise in at least one area such as primary health care, child health, reproductive health, health systems strengthening, research or evaluation.
• Strong experience in programme management, project design, proposal development, fundraising, monitoring and evaluation, and capacity strengthening.
