Human Resources Coordinator – Yemen

About the role

Médecins du Monde is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to support its operations in Yemen. The role will ensure the HR framework aligns with local legislation, organizational policies, and the humanitarian context.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement HR strategy, workforce planning and budgeting in coordination with senior leadership.
• Maintain the organizational structure and contribute HR components to project proposals.
• Oversee compensation, benefits, talent management, staff discipline, career development and learning programmes.
• Ensure accurate HR administration, payroll processing and compliance with local regulations.
• Support team building initiatives and promote a positive work environment across multiple offices.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in human resources management, preferably in humanitarian or non‑profit settings.
• Strong knowledge of Yemeni labour law and ability to adapt policies to local context.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under security constraints and adapt to rapidly changing environments.
