Health and Safety Specialist

About the role

Amazon is looking for a Health and Safety Specialist to ensure a safe and healthy work environment across a cluster of 5‑7 delivery stations. This hands‑on role involves implementing safety programmes, monitoring performance, and collaborating with site teams to reduce risk and improve compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor site performance against safety KPIs and develop improvement plans.
• Design and deliver workplace health and safety programmes, including training sessions.
• Analyse safety metrics and incident trends to allocate resources to high‑risk areas.
• Conduct audits to verify compliance with Italian health and safety legislation and implement corrective actions.
• Work onsite at fulfillment, sortation, or delivery stations to identify hazards and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification aligned with the European Qualifications Framework.
• ASPP or RSPP certification.
• Strong understanding of Italian Environment, Health and Safety legislation.
• Advanced proficiency in both Italian and English.
