Field Manager – Shabwah

About the role

The Field Manager leads International Rescue Committee (IRC) operations and program support in the governorates of Shabwah and Abyan, Yemen. Reporting to the Field Coordinator, the incumbent represents IRC with government ministries, local communities, partners and coordination forums such as OCHA meetings.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure effective, compliant, and secure field activities across Shabwah and Abyan.
• Represent IRC with authorities, community leaders, partners and coordination mechanisms.
• Supervise field staff, manage administrative functions and support logistical needs.
• Contribute to strategic decision‑making as a member of the extended Senior Management Team.
• Participate in coordination meetings and forums to align IRC interventions with humanitarian priorities.

• Strong ability to work with diverse stakeholders, including government officials and local communities.
• Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience in field settings.
