Nutrition-Responsive Cash Plus Consultant (Remote, 15 months)

About the role

Under the direct supervision of the UNICEF Social Policy Officer, the consultant will support the Nutrition‑Responsive Cash Plus project funded by KFW in the Tuban and Al‑Mukha districts of Yemen. The role combines data‑management, monitoring‑information‑system development and close collaboration with the Social Welfare Fund, the Ministry of Public Health and Population and other implementing partners.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance the monitoring‑information‑system (MIS) for the cash‑plus programme, including data capture, storage and analysis.
• Design and implement advanced digital forms using ODK, InForm and Activity Info for large‑scale surveys.
• Produce analytical reports, visualisations and maps using Tableau, QGIS/ArcGIS and Power BI, and present findings to UNICEF and partners.
• Integrate data sources through APIs and ensure data quality and security.

Required profile

• Advanced university degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics or a related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in MIS development and humanitarian data management, including at least two years in cash‑transfer or nutrition programmes.
• Proficiency in English and Arabic, with strong report‑writing skills.

Required skills

• Advanced form building and analysis with ODK, InForm, Activity Info.
• Data‑analysis and database management using MS Excel, MS Access (pivot tables, functions).
• Data visualisation and mapping tools: Tableau, QGIS, ArcGIS, Power BI.
• API integration for connecting multiple data sources.
