National Case Worker – Child Protection

About the role
Save the Children International is seeking dedicated Case Workers to protect vulnerable children across Aden, Lahj and Taiz. Under the supervision of a Case Management Officer, you will identify, document and respond to the needs of at‑risk children, ensuring they receive essential services and support.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct initial assessments for child protection cases and prioritize them by risk level.
- Develop and implement case plans with children and families, coordinating medical, legal and psychosocial referrals.
- Identify, trace and reunify unaccompanied and separated children in line with FTR SOPs.
- Monitor case progress through regular home visits, providing guidance, emotional support and community mediation.
- Collaborate with SCI staff and external stakeholders to arrange case conferences for complex cases.
- Maintain the highest professional standards to ensure children are not exposed to further harm.
Required profile
- Experience in case management or child protection within humanitarian settings.
- Ability to work flexibly, including outside normal working hours when needed.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding children and adhering to rigorous background‑check procedures.
