National Case Management Officer

About the role

Under the guidance of the Child Protection Programme Manager, the National Case Management Officer will lead the implementation and documentation of child protection cases across Yemen. The role ensures that case management aligns with Save the Children’s core principles, donor requirements, and the best interests of the child.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee technical implementation of child protection projects in targeted regions, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
• Develop work plans and budgets that meet program indicators and quality standards.
• Plan and conduct field visits, supervise case workers, and produce monitoring reports.
• Coordinate with MHPSS, community mobilisation, and service‑providing agencies to integrate case management with broader protection activities.
• Participate in baseline, end‑line and other MEAL activities to assess project performance.
• Document case progress, flag concerns, and propose corrective actions.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of child protection principles, confidentiality, and “do no harm” approaches.
• Experience coordinating case workers and multi‑sectoral partners in a humanitarian setting.
• Ability to ensure compliance with donor requirements and safeguard children.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
