Hub Coordinator – Humanitarian Hub Management

About the role

The Hub Coordinator will oversee the day‑to‑day management of the Humanitarian Hub in Marib, Yemen. Reporting to the Field Coordinator and under the Chief of Mission’s supervision, the role ensures that facilities, accommodation and shared services operate smoothly for UN agencies, INGOs and IOM staff.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily needs of the Hub with partners and agencies, providing practical recommendations to meet objectives.
• Maintain and supervise the functionality of hub facilities, including repair, maintenance and installation of both permanent and temporary infrastructure.
• Manage contracts with building contractors, monitor performance against specifications and quality standards, and work closely with logistics and procurement teams.
• Oversee cost‑recovery processes, collaborating with finance staff to ensure accurate invoicing and timely payments.
• Review space requests, advise on best practices for space standards, and support budget planning and resource allocation.
• Prepare regular progress reports for relevant stakeholders and contribute to the development of housekeeping SOPs.
• Provide inputs for purchase requests in coordination with the head of office and logistics for hub‑related materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Hotel Management or related field with at least two years relevant experience, OR a university degree in the same fields with four years relevant experience.
• Minimum two years of experience working for a UN agency, international organization or NGO in a facilities, logistics or procurement context.
• Demonstrated ability to work with multi‑agency environments and coordinate cross‑functional teams.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
