Finance Officer (CSTII) – Aden, Yemen

About the role

The Finance Officer (CSTII) will support finance operations for the World Food Programme Yemen Country Office based in Aden. This consultancy position fills the gap left by the discontinued short‑term finance role, ensuring continuity of financial activities during the transition period.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain continuity of finance operations in the Aden office.
• Support the Head of Finance in overseeing financial transactions and reporting for the Yemen Country Office.
• Ensure compliance with WFP financial policies and procedures during the transition.
• Coordinate with other units to facilitate smooth financial processes.

Required profile

• Consultancy contract at CSTII level.
• Relevant experience in finance, preferably within humanitarian or development contexts.
• Familiarity with WFP financial guidelines is advantageous.
