Case Management Assistant – Child Protection

About the role

The International Rescue Committee is seeking a dedicated Case Management Assistant to support vulnerable children and families in Al Dhale’e, Yemen. You will work within the Child Protection team to ensure that children at risk of abuse, exploitation, neglect, or violence receive timely and appropriate assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct all steps of the case management process for an assigned caseload of children, including unaccompanied and separated minors.
• Identify children at risk, complete documentation, assessments, and develop individualized action plans.
• Provide direct case management support in mobile centers, camps, and community settings.
• Coordinate with health, nutrition, education, and protection partners to deliver integrated interventions.
• Maintain accurate case records and ensure quality of service delivery.

Required profile

• Experience in child protection or humanitarian case management.
• Knowledge of protection standards and best practices for vulnerable children.
• Ability to work in challenging, insecure environments and adapt to mobile field settings.
• Strong communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is an asset.
