Senior Trade & Investment Expert (Non-Key)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Non-Key Expert in Trade & Investment to provide high‑quality technical assistance for the EU‑funded “Egypt Downtown Facility” project, supporting trade and investment policy, private‑sector development and EU‑Egypt economic cooperation.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver technical assistance on trade and investment policy, investment climate and market access.
• Prepare market studies, investment analyses, feasibility studies and policy recommendations.
• Support private‑sector development initiatives and enhance economic competitiveness.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in economics, international trade, business, finance, development studies or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in trade, investment, private‑sector development or business‑environment reform.
• Strong knowledge of trade and investment policy instruments; experience in Egypt/MENA and capacity‑building activities is desirable.
• Fluent English (C1); Arabic desirable and French an asset.
