Senior Investment & Blending Expert (EU Project)

About the role

The Senior Investment & Blending Expert will provide high‑quality technical assistance for the EU‑funded “Egypt Downtown Facility” project. The role focuses on investment project preparation, blending mechanisms and coordination with European and international financial institutions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and structure investment projects for EU blending and guarantee instruments.
• Develop and manage investment pipelines and feasibility assessments.
• Coordinate cooperation with European and international financial institutions.
• Support project structuring and pipeline development activities.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in economics, finance, investment, banking or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience.
• English proficiency at C1 level; Arabic desirable, French an asset.

Required skills

• Experience with investment project preparation and financial guarantee instruments.
• Knowledge of EFSD+ and EU blending mechanisms.
• Proven ability to develop investment pipelines and feasibility studies.
• Experience liaising with financial institutions, public authorities and project promoters.
