Medical Coordinator – Yemen

About the role

Médecins du Monde is seeking a Medical Coordinator to lead the design, implementation, adaptation and reporting of its medical programme in Yemen. The role ensures that all medical activities are relevant, of high quality, and that health data are effectively analysed to inform programme decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, adapt and report on the quality medical programme for the Yemen mission.
• Supervise the medical team, including health activity managers, the Marib medical supervisor and pharmacy advisor.
• Focus on health data analysis to monitor programme performance.
• Contribute to the development of the country strategy for the medical sector under the guidance of the General Coordinator.
• Collaborate with the deputy general coordinator, HQ desk officer and medical, mental health and protection advisors.

Required profile

• Ability to design, implement, adapt and report on medical programmes.
• Experience supervising medical teams in humanitarian contexts.
• Strong focus on health data analysis and quality assurance.
• Capacity to work under the supervision of the General Coordinator and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
