Country Manager – Yemen

About the role

The Country Manager leads CRS’s Yemen country program, ensuring that people, partners, resources and deliverables align with the organization’s mission to serve the poor and marginalized.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the Yemen country program, overseeing staff, partners, resources and deliverables.
• Represent CRS and the USCCB with government, donors and other key stakeholders.
• Identify and secure funding opportunities to sustain and expand program impact.
• Ensure high‑quality programming, integration across sectors and compliance with donor standards.
• Lead workforce planning, staff development, coaching and well‑being initiatives.
• Oversee financial monitoring, risk management and emergency response.
• Promote accountability, learning and knowledge management using MEAL standards.

Required profile

• Proven senior management experience in a country program or similar setting.
• Strong track record of donor relationship building and fundraising.
• Ability to work with government, international organisations and local partners.
• Experience in financial oversight, risk mitigation and emergency response.
• Commitment to safeguarding, accountability and CRS values.
