Pharmacist Officer

About the role

Save the Children International is seeking a Pharmacist Officer to support the daily operational management of its pharmacy network in the assigned region. Working under the guidance of the Health and Nutrition Program Manager, you will ensure that medicines and medical supplies are stored, prepared, and distributed according to national protocols and donor standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare medications in the SCI pharmacy store and hand over supplies to targeted health facilities.
• Organise and supervise technicians, verifying preparation, labelling, and order accuracy.
• Manage stock movement, maintain bin and stock cards, and generate regular reports.
• Ensure pharmacy stores comply with drug standards, protocols, and donor requirements.
• Collect and submit monthly consumption reports to the Reproductive Health Officer.
• Maintain accurate inventory of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies in warehouses and health facilities.
• Collaborate with the GHO and DHO to monitor project progress and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare donation certificates and waybills for distribution.

Required profile

• Pharmacy degree or equivalent professional qualification.
• Experience in pharmacy operations, inventory control, and medication dispensing.
• Familiarity with national pharmaceutical protocols and donor compliance standards.
• Ability to work in a humanitarian context and coordinate with health officials.

Required skills
